Danksin

I'm doing the Danskin Triathlon on Sunday.

It's been a hard week, I'm exhausted, and I don't really want to race. "A friend" with a lot of widsom told me just to focus on one thing. So I'm going to focus on....

Smiling. A lot. (Or frowning. If that's how the day looks.)

Yes, that's it. I hope to install the basket and ribbons on my bike later this afternoon. Wish me luck!

Good luck with the basket and ribbons (and on having a good day out there)! Look for me at a water stop...I'll be out there volunteering.

I am doing it too!! But only for fun. I have only been on my bike once this summer.

Good Luck!!!

Unfortunately, the 3 bitchy volunteers from last year won't be out there to cheer you on;-) I'm sure you'll do great!!!

Have fun, that's the most important thing. I can't wait to go watch y'all and cheer for you!

I just got asked to be a swim angel again! I'll look for you. Have fun! oh...and I think you need the cute straw things on your spokes to go with the basket. ;-)

And you can borrow some of my cards and a clothespin(!) to stick in your spokes! :)

The smile shows people you're achieving your goals, it is easier to cheer for someone wearing a smile, a smile is easier to see than a frown if you've got hat and sunglasses on, so go with the smile option :-)

reminds me of that famous quote:

smile like no one's listening,
swim like no one's caring,
ride like no one's watching,
run like there's no humidity,
laugh as you imagine everyone on the sidelines naked.
