- Katie & I went early Friday night to sneak peak at the artists. Unfortunately, the weather was so bad that no one was really setting up. In fact, throughout the night - entire tents were blown away. :(
- Because of the weather, the festival opened an hour later. So, I got an extra hour of browsing before the gates opened on Saturday.
- Wiley was my partner in crime on Saturday- I had a blast hanging out with him. We created secret codes for the artwork. He helped me pick out some awesome pieces.
- Meeting up with Kenny & Heather later in the day and insisting on calling them "commoners" since they didn't have special Alliance badges.
- When I woke up this morning, I loved the stuff I bought even more. Definitely a good sign.
- Free frozen mojitos today.
- Dancing at the main stage with Pat & Vanessa (Terry's family)
- Getting to know a few artists better. I think one of them might stay at my house next year.
I had a fantastic weekend. I'm so glad I got to share it with so many friends, too. I'm glad I got to hang out with Wiley so much. I got to see Katie 3 days in a row - rockin! I got 6 great pieces!
And, I was reminded of how much I miss Phil. I really wish he had been there today. I hope Boston and Art Fest don't conflict again next year.
Anyway, I can't WAIT until Art Festival 08! :)
